Exams Suck

So I just want to apologize for missing my last blog, honestly I just completely forgot and had a ton of other homework to do. The past 2 weeks have possible been the most stressful weeks of my life I have not been to bed before 3 for about 2 weeks. All of my hard classes decided to have their exams all in the same week and it has been brutal. I's so excited to catch up on some sleep this weekend!! And to top it all off I studied for hours upon hours and still did not do good on my exams. I must have been nervous or something, but its kinda a bummer when you put so much effort into something to get a bad outcome.
But enough complaining...
I don't know if all of you watched the game last night but we WON!! Yayyy GO HOKIES!! I had a great time last night, a bunch of girls in my hall came into my room and we all laid on the floor with ton of pillows and blankets and ate popcorn and just talked while watching the game. It was nice to finally relax and not think about school for a little while.
I hope you all have a great weekend and be safe!
See you monday! :)

To my lovely readers,

I know this blog is suppose to be easy and your just suppose to write about anything, but sometimes it is hard to come up with random things to talk about. So I will get started with telling you a little bit about myself. I have a older brother, Zach, that is a sophomore here at Virginia Tech and I have a little sister, Zoe, that is 8 and in the 3rd grade. My brother plays rugby here and it is actually his first year ever playing so I'm super excited to go to his games and cheer him on. I miss my family so much especial my little sister. It is the saddest thing talking to her on the phone and listening to her beg me to come home. I am a very family orientated person. They are the most important things in my life. My mom and brother are my best friends, which sounds weird but they are the ones that I would trust with anything in my life and I know they will always be there for me no matter what. I played volleyball all throughout high school and I plan on playing club or intramural here maybe next semester. Currently, I am on a co-ed flag football team which has been so much fun so far!! I think my hardest adjustment here at college is that there is so much to do and there is so many things I want to be apart of but I am so busy with my school work that I feel like I am missing out on fun college opportunities. I just need to work on my time management so I have enough time to do the things I want and the things I need to do. My roommate is amazing! Her name is Ali and we get along perfectly. We actually met on the Virginia Tech 2017 Facebook page, which was great because I wanted to room with somebody I didn't know but I didn't want to do 100% random... I was honestly scared I was going to get roomed with a crazy person. haha. I am a super outgoing person and I will talk to anybody, some people say that I have never met a stranger. I try to make friends with everybody because I honestly enjoy hearing where other people are from and their story. I love to be active and outside, so the horrible winters here is going to suck! I am from a pretty country home town it is a simple, small, and quiet town. Even though my graduation class was close to 600 people it is a town where everybody knows everybody, which I like. In high school I was the treasure of my graduation class and had to speak at graduation, which was the most nerve racking thing I have ever done. There was  8,000-10,000 people at graduation! Yeiks! Well enough out of me, I'm going to bed!

I hope you all have a great weekend!! :)

A little about me and the funniest part of my week

Hey!
I have never wrote a blog before so bare with me this could get bumpy. Ha! My name is Linsey Schiemann I am from southern Virginia in a small town called Franklin County, its almost on the border of North Carolina and Virginia. In high school I played volleyball and softball, but my softball career came to an end my sophomore year when I had to have back surgery. I had ruptured 2 disks in my lower back and had to have immediate surgery because they were worried that it had ruptured toward my spinal cord. Virginia Tech has been my number 1 choice for college since I can remember. My grandfather and a bunch of my uncles went to Virginia Tech so being a Hokie has been in our blood for awhile. I am studying Biology right now but I might change next year to HNFE or Human Development or I might minor in one of them... Honestly, I'm not 100% sure what I am doing at the moment but I will decide based on how this year goes.

In this blog I am going to tell you about the funniest thing that I have witnessed this week. So while I was on my way to the gym at McComas there was a flock of girls waking in front of me wearing yoga pants and tinny tiny shorts who was also on their way to they gym. Well, on the other side of the road on the sidewalk closest to Lane Stadium there was a hunky man riding a small penny board down the hill towards McComas. As he was weaving in and out of people trying to show off his skill to all the girls and he couldn't seem to unglue his eyes off their asses as he was flying down the hill. So he obviously wasn't paying attention to the cars coming out of Lane parking lot and slams into the side of a car and flies over the hood!! Shockingly, he bounces up and tries to play it off like it was nothing!!! Everybody that was outside hit the ground in laughter. Needless to say his penny board career is over and he didn't walk away with any of the big booty girls! It was absolutely hilarious!
